Very excited about this one! There are going to be some special guests playing different instruments. Plus, I get to play opposite my label mates, Clare & The Reasons!  Their great new record, Arrow, is out the same day (10/20) on Frogstand Records.  Tickets for this show aren’t available online beforehand.  You have to purchase at Mercury at the time of the show.  Hope you can make it!

After you watch this, you should go HERE and buy a copy of Wilderness – so you can enjoy the real version of “Days Like This” (no stomach-churning Midi heavy metal treatment, I promise).  I hope to see all you NYC folks at the show at Southpaw on Wednesday.  You can BUY TICKETS FOR SOUTHPAW HERE.

“I See You” from my Record, Wilderness, in Midi/Karaoke Form. Completely horrifying, but oddly romantic…

This will be the first time I’ve played in Brooklyn in the last couple of years.  It’s part of the Acoustically Related Music Series…

“Sometimes The Deli staff takes breaks involving (among other things) driving for hours. This is when the pile of CDs we accumulate on our floors (as we really don’t use desks here), get their chance. We went through around 100 CDs last weekend and the winner of this impromptu competition was Josh Mease. In particular, his song “You Found Me” charmed the hell out of us. Honorable mentions also to Elizabeth and the Catapult, Cause Co-Motion, Avi Fox Rosen, The Shivers and Richard Swift.”

Here’s a recent interview I did for Whiskey Dregs…

While taking a break from working on ridiculous MIDI versions of all the songs from Wilderness (don’t ask – you’ll see), I came across Addict-O-Matic .  This site is great for finding every shred of recent information on any given topic (especially obscure, but up-and-coming Brooklyn songwriters).  So feel free to become completely obsessed with me and my music (as long as it’s a healthy, non-violent obsession).  Now time to get back to work on the  reverb-drenched MIDI sax solo for “You Found Me”….
